THERMOVISION
Electrically heated glass
The Bulgarian product
Electrically heated glass is a special glass with metal oxide coating that works as a heating element.
This coating transmits light like float glass and at the same time is energy efficient.
When supplied with electricity, the coating turns electric energy into heating. The glass surface is heated
even when the ambient temperature is negative. In order to protect the coating and electrodes from injury,
the glass is laminated in panel of two glasses with the coating inside. This panel can be used directly for single glazing,
as well as to be built-in into double glazing in combination with sun protection.
Panel structure

The use of electrically heated glass prevents the cold wall effect that the windows have.
This heated partition between the rooms and the external environment reduces heat loss
and improves the comfort of the inhabitants. There is no requirement for radiators under the
windows. Electrical connection of heated windows to intelligent control network at home is extremely easy.
The use of electrically heated glass in premises with high humidity such as swimming pools, baths,
etc. prevents the formation of condensation on the glass and creates an exclusive comfort.
The use of electrically heated glass is very effective for roof and visor glazing as it causes snow to melt,
maintaining transparency and illumination of the premises, reduces the weight on
construction.
ThermoVision is electrically heated glass, developed by Bulcorp Ltd. In 2019.
The glass is produced as a transparent panel with thickness of 8 and 10 mm. For the moment the maximum size is 2200x1000 mm.
The glass is supplied with a voltage of 48V, which makes it safe for use in wet areas and humid conditions.
The allowed safe temperature of the glass surface is 55 ° C. The temperature is regulated by a thermostat.
The operating temperature of the glass surface and respectively heat output depends on the intended use of the glass.
For glazing the recommended temperature is 5-8 ° C higher than in the room. For defrosting and drying, the recommended temperature of the glass surface is 45-55 ° C.
The glass panel or double-glazed unit is delivered ready for installation, wired and with a quick connection for binding.
The power supply and the thermostat are supplied equipped in suitable for
built-in box. The glass surface temperature sensor is placed on the glass at the time of installation.
ThermoVision is a product developed and manufactured in Bulgaria,
whose future is yet to come.
